Car Sales February 2014 in USA: Poor Sales Month
February of the present year was a bad month in American with respect to car sales, specially for the big three manufacturers known in the world, Ford, Toyota and Chevrolet, who occupied the top positions on car sales, but in the loss category, compared to the same month last year 2013.
Ford was down %7, Toyota 5% and Chevrolet 2%. However, even so, these automakers remain as the best selling brands in the country.
Following with the subject, the automaker who had the worst record of numbers, was MINI, with a fall of 42% compared to February 2013, and not least, Volkswagen, with a drop in sales of 13%.
On the other hand, the brands that reported strong increases were Jeep, with a rise of 47% or 45,496 units sold, followed by Lincoln with a 36% (6,661 units) and Jaguar with a 35% (1,552 sold models).
